Hurricane Helene damaged about 6% of Virginia’s economy.
That’s according to an update provided Tuesday by the Commonwealth’s Secretary of Finance.
But as Brad Kutner found out, federal aid is expected to improve the region.

Maybe y’all left it out the part where he expresses concern for the people experiencing the need for recovery in Southwest Virginia. Many people lost their entire homes. Businesses were just washed away. It’s great to be optimistic, but how about dealing with the current disaster?
